Friend to raccoons with a knack for story telling through design, Sarah is a Digital Artist with over 10 years of design experience who loves to work with passionate small business owners who love what they do.
Maya Lyon commissioned this family portrait as a gift to her husband Sam.
She came to Sarah with the request of including, Mum, Dad, their baby, 6 chickens, 2 horses, 1 cat, 1 dog plus their beautiful farmhouse and Sam's favourite tractor in the artwork. The Lyon family live in New Zealand and run a beautiful Kiwi farm which Sarah took inspiration from and ran with to tie everything together!
Painted with Gouache and finished with Prisma Colour Pencils and FaberCastel Markers on archival A3 watercolour paper.
The Worst Princess Project
"Ohh princess, pretty as a pea! I've journeyed far to rescue thee."
Sarah took on a small self driven project to redraw some of the pages out of her Daughters favourite story book - "The Worst Princess" by Anna Kemp. The original illustrations are incredibly drawn by Sara Ogilvie.
The book is now tattered with ripped pages and handprints everywhere. It has been very well loved. As something fun and lighthearted, Sarah wanted to redraw some of her daughters fav pages and create a bit of art she could frame with the original book to hang on her daughters wall.
Copic markers + Prisma Colour pencils on fine grain A3 watercolour paper. Made with love.
Brap Brap Dirtbike
A special gift for the coolest biker bandit I know!

A one of a kind piece created for Sarah's long time friend and her beautiful growing family.

Twelve Little Buttons
Pichamon is a bunny obsessed doll maker who creates cute, fun and whimsical handmade cloth dolls and custom dolls for customers.
Because she loves bunnies so much, Sarah loved sketching cute rabbits and buttons for the initial branding concepts. In the end the Pichamon settled on this curious cotton (button?) tail. Sarah gave the illustration a more hand-made feel by adding texture and once her branding collateral is printed Pichamon will be sewing actual red buttons in place of the printed version!
Aeolidia, Friendly • Creative • Fearless – Well Known for Helping Creative Small Businesses Set up Shop Online.
Sarah has been working with the Aeolida team for some years now and without a doubt they are the most wonderfully creative, enthusiastic, clever people on earth. Arianne (their fearless leader) gave Sarah the chance to redesign the Aeoldia website and together with the help of Mariah DeMarko (Identity Designer), Shoshana Love (Web Developer) and Natalia (Copywriter) the team ended up designing something truly beautiful!
Nora Gray is a place where all the things lovely come together: hand-made baby blankets, moccasins and infinity scarves, custom-built furniture pieces, and a bevy of women and children’s clothing and gift items.
Everything they feature is either made in the USA by their amazing team, by fellow artisans and makers or supports a good cause.
Sarah took their existing logo and build a brand identity around it. She refreshed their colour pallet and created texture patterns to partner perfectly with their look and business feel.
She also designed a unique Shopify online store to match!
In 2015 Charlie, Andrew & his wife Jayde purchased the Kingsley Motel and not only are they rejuvenating the tired bones of the venue, but dishing up impressive local produce in their restaurant.
Having taken on a long-time existing (and outdated) business, the new owners wanted a complete brand refresh. Sarah worked to transform their business branding into something fresh and modern, yet classic and fitting. They left with a beautifully updated look, complete with a full logo, identity pack, stationary, menu, building signage and newspaper advertisement.
Azalia Spa Goods is a line of handcrafted aromatherapy body oils born out of my simple desire to follow in nature's example.
This project was by far Sarah's biggest branding adventure. With the support of her Aeolidian team behind her, Sarah designed the: Logo & Brand Identity, stationary, labels and packaging for Azalia Spa Goods.
